i586 on a i686

Hi everybody,

I need an answer concerning gcc 3.3.3 How can I compile code for i586 on the i686 machine? Haven't there been compiler flags like arch=i586? In 3.3.3 there are just flags that enable or disable MMX features...

Hi,

-march

That?s just not correct. Please see `man gcc`.

Bye, Oliver
