ribbon connector

OK, I need some help...

I got a pile (10 to be exact) keypads from a sale on EBay.

Now I have to figure out what to do with them.

They have connections basically painted on to a mylar substrate. The painted strips are on 0.10" centers.

I've seen connectors for these types of ribbon conectors, but now that I need one I can't find one.

If you want to see what I bought, this is it:

(No, this is not subtle spam. I really did buy a ten-pack, and now I want to use them....)

Anyone know where I can get these? I've tried mouser and digi-key, but it's hard to browse their catalogs when you don't know the official name of whatever it is you're looking for.....

TIA....

Did you download the documentation listed in the E-bay page you listed? It might have the name of what you are looking for.

HAH!

The listing I bought from had a broken link.... The docs say 'solderable' - so, since I have 10, I can afford to ruin one or two practicing.....

Thanks for the nudge....

They're called flat film cable connectors and one company that makes
them is FCI:

maybe you could put a piece of circuit bouard behind them and plug both the mylar strip and the circuit board into a regular edge connector ?

it's not like you're doing 1000 of them.
