Recently someone asked on a newsgroup about gas prices around the world. Reading in today's paper, Kuwait residents are "outraged" at the 18cents a litre that they are currently paying.

Perth (Australia) average price for ULP (92 RON)today is around AUD1.34 per L. This equates to USD5.00 per US gal.
Yes I've just filled up with Diesel and calculated the price to be $7.08 per US gallon (based on 0.99 GBP/L and current exchange rates).
