Not true. Some of the old ISA cards are still supported under at least Windows 2000, and I believe Windows XP. Somewhere on their web site NI has a chart showing which cards is supported by which OS.
We did end up stuck with NI's first USB --> GPIB converter that they supported under Windows 95 and 98 and then dropped support for in later OSes! @#$@#$%
