Longevity is advertised for cheap ceramic element soldering irons - has this any truth in it? I just burned up another el cheapo wound element 30W iron! Came across these ceramic elements on Ebay - one even has a 130W boost button that you can use for max 30 seconds - worth a try? - no doubt someone here has already?! Charlie+
