As you know, when we try LDR and STR ,It will change address to fullword accesses, Can I change it to halfword?

Next time, please tell which processor.
I guess that the question is about ARM.
LDR and STR will work correctly on fullword boundaries only, so the last two bits of the effective address have to be 00, i.e. last hex digit 0, 4, 8, or c.
