Dziwne - nie mialem nigdy podobnych problemow. Sprobuj zainstalowac nowego MPLABa do innego katalogu niz stary.

Jak nie pomoze, to sprobowalbym odinstalowac starego przed instalacja nowego. Moze warto sprobowac usunac przed instalacja stare sterowniki programatorow (np. ICD2).

Ewentualnie probowac wyczyscic system z pozostalosci starego MPLABa (regedit).
