If you're familiar with Creative Labs speaker Control pods, are they supposed to get very hot? I don't recall the last one getting hot to the touch. This one has T1, I guess a transformer (wire winding), that gets very hot. I know wall warts get hot. In one location on the Control pod before taking it apart, it is about too hot to touch. Sounds like a bad design to me, but I'm wondering if it should be serviced?
