Hello again, Phil Old Cussin Buddy. A couple messages ago, I asked you a question about your possible possession of firearms. I have a bet on with me mates here. Could you be so kind as to answer the question in your most polite tone?
capacitor datasheet? ripple current ? Impedance ratio?

Hi Martin!
This is 'John Chesterfiled Fields'.
Nothing new..... :)

Now do it properly with differentials !
Cough Splutter !
Good Lord !
Graham
And how is it done in the real world ?
Graham
In fact you were no help at all.
Now tell me, why would 2 caps of otherwise similar size etc have quite different ripple current ratings ?
Graham
"Eeysore"
** Why bother ??The rule works out just fine when the p-p ripple voltage is under 20 % of the average DC value and the ripple frequency is only 50Hz to 400Hz or so.
It just a simple transposition of the capacitor formula:
I = C . dv/dt
Long as the discharge is linear over the time interval ( dv/dt = k), the formula holds.
BTW
T = discharge period, not ripple period.
....... Phil
I just wanted to wind him up !
Agreed.

Like _you_ know something about it?
Sitting alone, like a turd floating in that pool of diarrhea that
comprises your posting history is the most technical post for you,
so far, and that\'s you trying, unsuccessfully, to figure how to
light up a 3 digit LED display, LOL!
Have you got it down yet, genius?
Thanks.
No. Have I placed a time-trial, or an expire-date to the thread? I use a digital machine and an offline Newsreader. Where is the problem?
It is not forseenable, when all the News of Usenet will be deleted irrecoverable.
Best Regards,
Daniel Mandic
P.S.: Hint.... 'Paradoxon'
--- The problem is that you're dishonest and you're trying to change the subject so you won't have to deal with the issue at hand, which is that you can't figure out how to get a 3 digit LED display to display "333", while at the same time trying to set yourself up as some kind of guru who has access to unconventional knowledge.
Unfortunately, (for you) you still haven't figured out the vagaries of American English, so you come across as bogus. Just as you would, I'm sure, even if you were fluent in our language.
Gurdjieff you ain't.

--- Another one of your "gems"?
sounds like Coprolite to me.

C'mon, I am making the first Thread into sci.electronics and you hack on me about.
That was just of interest for me. In another NG, though.
Best Regards,
Daniel Mandic
P.S.: You are dishonest! And surely not the reference in sci.electronics.basics!!
Prove it.
Michael Terrell is better.
Kind Regards,
Daniel Mandic
My, how you dance...
I cannot dance :), mei!
Best Regards,
Daniel Mandic
P.S.: open a new NG... sci.electronics.competition
"Chesterfiled?"
Ok, John, just how big was her "Chester", and why did you "filed" it?
Service to my country? Been there, Done that, and I\'ve got my DD214 to
prove it.
