Could some electronics guru please provide some pointers -- I am trying to determine the analytical oscillation frequency of the z source inverter. Thanks in advance for your help.

Never heard of it. How 'bout some links/references.

Here's all the analytics you need, straight from the inventors pen.

Old technology.
I think it was Emerson (maybe) that produced current-sourced converters (inverters?) back in the 80's or 90's to drive 3-phase motors.

Never heard that term before in that way, but it sounds like a vector inverter setting the frequency such that is creates constant current.
Maybe vector inverters is what you're after?
