Do anyone know how to creat a telephone dialer (interface with 2 wires) with a DTMF generator?

There are two ways of doing this, the first which I don't have much experience with goes like this. Normally accross a telephone line there's
50volts, you just stick a bit of resistance between the two wires so the voltage drops to a few volts and chuck a signal down it. The other way is to stick a transformer accross it (with a resistance on it's coils enough to drop the voltage to a few volts) and stick your signal on the other side.Josh
