I recently purchased an old Topaz 1000 VA line conditioner transformer. Basically, these units are 1:1 isolation transformers with some secondary taps to allow compensation for fluctuations in primary line voltage or secondary load. There is some kind of voltage sensing circuit driving a number of triacs connected to the tap points.
Mine seems stuck on a lower voltage tap connection. I have seen conceptual schematics for these things but would like to see a working schematic. I would be willing to pay for same. This thing weighs about
60 lbs so shipping it out for repairs might be prohibitive.
