I use xpdf in Linux, my version is at least a year old. Adobe 8 in Linux also displays it. gv (Ghostview)also displays it.

Republican nitpicker LOL. :-) Thet eye diagram is not even so bad, noisy data is everywhere to deal with, try a sat link. The idea of sending data via LED lighting is nice, but it also needs to be able to go 2 ways... Wonder how they plan to do that, LED on the laptop and receiver on the ceiling?

Why limit to the blue LED, use all three colors for CWDM, a true multitone system :-).

Yes, and one could do color transmission by using the red LED for the reds, the blue LED for the blues, and the green LED for the greens :-)

However, with their system, to transmit a digital TV channel .ts transport stream I need about 6 Mbits/second... .ts would be useful for this sort of transmission I think, but not enough speed yet for the real thing. Audio would work though (128kbps for stereo).

I've no doubt. But my comments were directed at observations by Robert Baer, who may not be in your circumstance.

I have the 18F14K22 as Vpp, clock and data are on the same pins as the 16F690, So I tried to read one in the same socket with the same soft (I wrote) for the

16F690. I can see some erased locations, but also some not erased... 0958 3fff3fff3fff3fff3fe33fff3fff3fff

I also tried programming in a hex file with the same timing as the 16F690, no go, erase no go either.

So, question, is there an obvious difference in the timing, before I start re-writing my programmer software for this PIC... Oh, wait, should not one pin for low voltage programming be a specific voltage when using high voltage programming as I do? Any quick hints:-)?

Never mind, found the programming specs, looks like I have to make a new programmer AND write new soft :-)

Acroread 7 in wine displays it, in the Firefox plugin. So does Acroread 8 in Linux.

Bank switching went out of fashion about the time that flush toilets were invented.
