superconducting quantum tunneling wire

Hi,

If two or more parallel conductive wires with 0.5nm spacing have a current put through them from left to right as shown here:

current travel ----->

|------------------------------| |------------------------------| |------------------------------| |------------------------------|

Since the wires are close together then some of the electron charge should exist in a "tunneling state", ie not in the wires but between the wires. Assuming based on the wire spacing ie 0.5nm, etc that the ratio of tunneling charge was 10% of the overall electric charge in the wire, will this decrease the effective resistance of the wires leading to room temperature superconductivity in the right conditions?

cheers, Jamie
