Standard PCB parameters defined for board fabrication?

Question

I've previously had an ad-hoc approach to ordering PCBs wrt design data (ie labelling gerbers, defining the stack etc) and want to standardise the process.

I'm trying to list all the parameters that can be defined so it's easy to run through them and make sure what needs defined is in.

I thought I remembered a post on here a couple of months ago with someone asking this very question. I added 'permission to remove internal unconnected pads' to the list and mentally bookmarked the thread for what I'm doing now. But I can't find it.

Does anyone have any pointers to the thread or a similar list?

I found it using the advanced search function of google groups. Hope this monster link will work:

If it doesn't, open a browser, go to google groups advanced search. You will need to paste in the search phrase "permission to remove internal unconnected pads" in the top line, choose Jan 1 2010 to June 1

2010, and type in sci.electronics.design in one of the lower windows (you'll figure out which one).
