When I started reading the link on one of the replicated experiments, I stopped as soon as I read that he was determining heat output by means of "high resolution thermal imaging cameras", rather than the more accurate bomb calorimeter method. AFAIK, infrared measurement depends on an "emissivity" constant which is not easy to determine accurately, and the power output must be analyzed by temperature readings over the entire surface.
With the entire device enclosed in a specific volume with certain thermal properties, one could compare the overall heat output with an identical enclosure containing a resistive heater dissipating a known amount of power.

There is clear indication it is a scam. There is no way to control the reaction. If it generated any power, it would heat up and the reaction output would increase. This would lead to thermal runaway and the unit would melt.
This does not happen. When he wants to stop the reaction, he merely turns off the power. It stops.
