Given that 1) people can't hear down to dc and 2) most sound systemsdon't reproduce audio down to dc, I doubt that the recording contains(valid) audio data down this low.IIRC, some movie theaters had systems that would produce "audio" down tomaybe 10 Hz as a vibration felt through the seats rather than actualsound. But the data for this was encoded on film destined specificallyfor theater viewing and probably isn't available on consumer DVDs.You might want to rip some audio tracks and run a spectral analysis onthem to see whether there is anything worthwhile reproducing. -- Paul Hovnanian -----------------------------------------------------------------------Have gnu, will travel.

The Spreckels organ in Balboa Park was built by Austin Organs of Hartford Conn. The 'action' is on the ceiling of the wind chest which can be big enough to work in as the organ plays. Makes it easier to 'troubleshoot' and from a musical standpoint, it has fewer issues with pressure variations which can casue tuning problems. English engineering from the 1890s though John Austin invented and patented it after coming to the US.

Though not all of the air chambers are large enough to walk through, they have a common pressurization system. It is also nicely regulated by the large system (walk through). I note that the Spreckles organ has a detachable rolling console, contrary to the assertions of the web site.
