I can't seem to find anything that dimensions the solder cups on these

There will be a drawing for individual parts.

It will depend on pin count/ pin dia.

Lower pin count is ~ 2.5mmOD/1.5mmID

Higher pin count ~ 1.5mmOD/ 0.65mmID

Yikes, 1 amp per pin!

We used XLRs on the outputs of our NMR pulsed-field gradient coil drivers, up to 20 amp pulses. They worked great.

the Neutrik style XLRs are really nice and sturdy connectors

there's also Speakon, up to 8connetions and rated ~30A cont

Cups are intended to be wire diameter tollerant - for stranded wire.

I 'measure' the ID using solid wire samples.

Be aware that if you're looking for a replacement for an existing part, you may need more care in part selection.

There are many near-substiturtes that will not fit or function. An example will be the amateur radio Foster connector, which has an older style boss and thicker actual pin dia.
