Adblocker helps a lot. WWW is finally a money-making hustle like a lot of stuff it's like those flashy commercial districts in Tokyo, every square inch is covered in signs.
That Radio Shack 60W temp-controlled soldering iron is a good iron, I have a couple, Taiwanese-made and pretty solid build quality, not re-badged Shenzen junk. It uses an Atten display but it's otherwise an in-house design. $100 is a fair price for it IMO. It takes the low-resistance sensor (not 65 ohms) four-wire heating elements, replacements are readily available
