So they have not been able to go to the moon ever since!

I was going to think about the Epstein files today but my attention has been consumed by NASA's library instead. Can't they move the material to the Smithsonian?

It's not actually propaganda - just factual information. Cursitor Doom doesn't know enough to understand what the facts mean, and is gullible enough to believe the fossil carbon industry propaganda (which he doesn't see as propaganda).

He thinks his 1890's measures of the 1890 CO2 levels - by wet chemistry done in labs heated by coal fires in cities heated the same way, have the same weight as Charles Keelings automated CO2 level measurements done by IR absorbtion at the top of Manu Loa, which started in 1958, after IR absorbtion machines had gone into commercial production.

The first non-dispersive CO2 gas monitor dates back to a about 1943, but it took a while for them to become commercially available.

He misses the point that Charles Keeling started off doing his measurements in an urban environment, but found out that local CO2 emissions made the results erratic, and had to take his gear to the top of Manu Loa to get consistent results that could be relied on.

I've visited this library somewhat recently. It was the size and demeanor of a large airy public library circa 1990. I don't recall any patrons other than me and my colleagues who were just killing some time between meetings.

That seems to be the norm for most "dead tree repositories", lately.

If the material was available on-line, I suspect more use would be made of it.
