LED Lamp - Circuit and Graphs

I don't think so. Why draw 16 4.7 volt zeners when you can use a single 75 volt zener? But, assuming those really are zeners, the bridge is correct and the LEDs are missing.

If they're not meant to be zeners and just his attempt to use the symbols for a LED symbol he doesn't have, then the simulation works, due to the backwards bridge. But that actual circuit would fail.

Still, whatever the error is, we don't know what LEDs he has in mind in either case - or why he chose 16 zeners in series if wants to zener regulate.

Previously, I had used zeners to simulate a string of LEDs, and in fact = I=20 even created a component for LTSpice which contained a zener and a = resistor=20 which matched the measured characteristic of an LED string I was working =

with. But then I discovered the "trick" of adding "N=3D20" to specify 20 = of=20 the particular LED used, and LTSpice has several, although it's not so = easy=20 to determine which of them are white, with the required current spec.

Since the OP says he does not use LTSpice, I wonder why he chose to use = the=20 zeners. For the purposes of simply showing the circuit as a GIF image, = even=20 a scanned sketch would suffice.

And there are MUCH better image hosts than those used by the OP. Why=20 challenge the user to a difficult CAPTCHA just to view an image? That=20 certainly does not make me want to purchase their premium package. = Instead,=20 I would choose to forget about it and not bother trying to download the=20 stupid image in a zipfile which really doesn't compress GIFs much = anyway.

The 4.7 volt zeners gave a better simulation than a single high voltage zener - I think I used 68v. I didn't want to make my own model in case it looked like I was cooking the books. The simulator I use has a heap of included models and a nice drag and drop interface to import more - but no LED's! (go figure).

No one can read my hand writing - some days I have a little difficulty with fine motor control.

As far as hosting I just used sites that were recommended to me - some from within this group. I think I'll stick with drop box - after I check if there are any security concerns.
