installing 1.4v solar panel

I have two cheap one dollar calculators. One of them stop working, and second is working perfectly.

My non working calculator came with solar panel. I took it out and installed it into a working calculator. Well. to be short it works expect it receive too much or too little current/voltage from panel?

Is there a way to remedy this? In non working calculator there is a zener diods, should I install this too? Anyway, would be appreciated.

Thanks

no way to increase the power output, ie either the voltage and or current or load line of a finished semiconductor device.

That said, you could be sure the window is clean and that none of the active area is obscured by plastic or other.

Best regards and happy designing

Too much or too little?

I understand your answer. I just don't understand his question.

I don't think he wants to increase the power output, he wants to control the output power. I am also doing something like that.

See the calculators. Just remember that Casio calculator is working now -- I wanna thank everyone for helping me to fix my grandpa calculator.

The Black calculator require 1.2 volt and solar panal is producing around 2.5. I am trying to figure out how to bring it down:-)
