Idea for regulate a DC with noise-Help

What can be a good solution for lowering a DC with high spyke tension?

there is the waveform of a DC bus with no load and with load and a capacitive filter.



My problem is that with no load i've a dc of about 200 volt plus a simil sawtooth that arriveat 350 volt.



With load sawtooth decrease. I want to reduce the sawtooth to 250 volt also withou load.



What can i use?



I can dissipate power but a good thing would be dissipate minimum as possible. So no pass regulator but a simple swithinf step down? Or what other idea? Thanks in advabce for any help

I'm thinking that you want a filter more than a regulator; could a resistor divider feeding a capacitor to ground and a (base or gate) of a (transistor or MOSFET) follower do the job for you? A couple of protection diodes on the transistor , and some worrying about oscillation if the load dislikes the emitter impedance, completes a 'design'.

It's also common to consider a series inductor for high current loads to reduce ripple. Power dissipation is low, and it keeps the ripple current from cooking your filter capacitor.
