Rune, Don't even think about it. Pot your board in 2 part silicone. Cure well in a warm oven. Then just pot in PUR. Polymerized silicone is very inert and d oes not interact chemically with other materials, because the active molecu les are locked into polymer chains. You can take that to the bank. That's w hy Silicone polymer can be implanted into the body for breast enlargement. Or used as silicone tubing for all sorts of medical uses. jb

God and true points. Anny idea of the bulk modulus of potted silicone? I have been assuming it to be 1.5 Gpa worst case and maybe 2.3 for PUR. To compensate for that diffrence the PUR membrane forming between the silicone and the sea water above a silicone potting,(60x60x30mm), have to flex innvard about 0.24mm in average. PUR of shore A 80 should manage that well i think.?

They probably have, unfortunately no luck finding those holy papers yet, maybe there is some secret library somewhere? Seems to be some knowledgeable people in here though ;)
