That's pretty funny. If a local sheriff arrests a federal agent for enforcing an "unconstitutional" federal law he would find himself up on federal charges I'm sure. So I'm sure that is just a lot of hot air on his part.

That's just plain silly. Why can't they fly with the same rules as other aircraft? They aren't flying around willy-nilly are they?

I guess there is one effect that makes them more dangerous. In a conventional airplane the pilot is the first person to the scene of an accident. That is a *big* incentive to avoid accidents. :)

"Other aircraft" do NOT get to cross airfield runways either. Their ENTIRE flight plan MUST be logged and registered.

#9,778,653 (Oct 2017) is the first one involving EV charging. We would certainly run into patent issues with Amazon, but we had no knowledge of their work back in 2014 and 2015.

Can't believe they can patent something so simple minded and obvious. For instant, energy exchange between vehicles has been around since drivers hel p each other with portable gas tanks. They listed serial, USB as comm link s between vehicles. Seriously, USB? Some says that they are patenting jun ks to prevent others to do anything remotely closed to it. That's a proble m with our current patent system as well.

No one can patent an idea by itself!

What about autonomous drones? I'm talking about birds. As a pilot, don't you already have a problem with that?

The US Military seems to do pretty well flying drones that aren't within li ne of sight of the pilot. In fact, they aren't even in the same hemisphere . The only problem they seem to have is delivering their packages to the w rong house. I think Amazon won't get nearly as much push back from that as the Military does.

Do you spend much time flying below 400 feet??? If you do you are violatin g FAA rules.
