The Amazon stand thing is cool too. It has a built-in power strip in the back.

Oh the woes of Support Assist. Just can't figure out why they dont use Command Update across the board.

Cheers

Just uninstall it.

Once I finally get this PC all set up right, we'll clone three more. Work, home, cabin, spare. That should hold me for 5 years or so.

Got new keyboards too. I glue down the CapsLock and Insert keys so they don't work.

The PrintScreen key used to do a clean screen capture. Now it's gone crazy. There must be a registry fix for that.

My main innovation is to put a dot of Bondic on the Home key.

I remember when I used to use Cadence on a Sun workstation, I jammed a paperclip under the f1 key, because if pressed by accident (the only reason it would ever be pressed), it would freeze the machine for the best part of a minute while it concocted some "help" which one could absoultely guarantee would not actually be helpful in any way or to anyone.

I'm a really clumsy typist and I'm always hitting hot-key combinations that do crazy stuff. And there are hundreds of weird hot keys.

I did find a registry patch that makes the PrintScreen key do an old-fashioned simple screen capture.

Microsoft has lost France, and will optimistically lose the rest of the world.
