HP never released schematics of the 9100. I spoke to the company historian. Yes, they have them. No, we can't see them.

So more of HP's history goes into dumpsters.

They even reused the model number 9100 for some stupid touchpad PC.

It would take time, but students could make schematics. Break it down to one board or section per person.

They've also reused it for a printer and a magneto-optical drive, which even confuses the current shopping process.

Old VCRs and analog TV you can find on the scrap belt here if they were not exported to 3rd world countries, so you can get them from there in quantity to test your tuners. May not work very well as your antique NTSC had lousy color and a lot less TV lines then our superior 625 line PAL system, but your old sets could probably do it in black and white if you adjusted the non-auto vertical sync knob a bit. :-)
