Greetings group. Teac CTF683 and Rowa RTM686 use the same chassis.
The ROWA fault was no power. The remedy was to replace R977 3.3Mohm in the standby power supply.
The TEAC was a write off. Each time the set was turned on a spark could be seen in the neck of the CRT and the set shut down.
