Teac CTF683 and Rowa RTM686 use the same chassis.
The ROWA fault was no power.
The remedy was to replace R977 3.3Mohm in the standby power supply.
The TEAC was a write off. Each time the set was turned on a spark could
in the neck of the CRT and the set shut down.
