Circuit diagram

AC fuse, 4 amp, is blown and TV is dead. No other components burnt or obviously faulty. It appears to be a power supply problem? Have test equipment and out of date experience with electronic (tube) repairs.

Seeking advice; best place to obtain a circuit diagram?

Numbers: Model Sharp 14F24C and LL24146. Main circuit board number K1530DE 0017. Pix tube numbers, 370FCB22A and MIG244194

Many thanks Lauren

Lauren: At the very least you should make a troubleshooting attempt at testing the power supply diodes or bridge rectifier, the B+ filter caps and the voltage regulator circuitry.... and always check the HOT and flyback derived B+ lines..... report back with your component testing results and voltage measurements. You should also visit the website for this newsgroup at

plan to spend some time there looking over the wealth of troubleshooting tips, component testing proceedures, repair FAQS and important SAFETY information. If after reading through the website you are still not certain how to proceed then you would be best advised to TAKE your television to a service shop for, at the very least, a repair cost estimate so you can make an intelligent repair decision with facts instead of internet wild guesses. electricitym . .
