HVDC Circuit Breaker: Is This _Really_ Difficult?

All this should have been well settled before Tesla was born.

It seems a HVAC circuit breaker would be more difficult.

DC is much harder to switch.

So the big "climate science" genius hasn't a clue about electricity. Very "green" of you Bret. Try going with actual facts rather than your liberal "emotions" of what "seems" difficult.

Here. wait. Let me demonstrate what a dummy you are. AC current is constantly reversing. So that means the current is actually shutting off

120 times a second (for 60 hz) power). So is that why an AC switch is "more difficult"? Get a science education Bret, and THEN come back and start telling us about "climate change".

Now you are on to something.

Climate Change is caused by air conditioners, not man.

wrong as usuual.

HVAC usuallt means something else,

DC is harder to switch than AC. judging only from the rating seen on datasheets and parts at low voltages it seems to ba about 8 times harder.

I don't see why this switch is needed though, to stop the current just turn off the inverter or the generator field..
