Why all computer casing & cables are black?

I just didn't and don't understand why everything has to be black in color as the main color. In the end, no other colors could be chosen or offered, notably white.

And there's pink.

But the best component selection (like you care that the CPU actually works), black components give the most to choose from. And with the current setbacks in PC component sales, don't expect the "obscure" ones to stay in stock.
