I did a Google search for SMD soldering/desoldering tools and found a web page from howardelectronics.com.
They advertise a Xytronic Auto-Temp 137ESD, new, for a sale price of $99.95. This is a temperature controlled, digital display, tip cleaner, etc.
Has anyone had any experience with this tool? Would it be a good unit for light to medium use for SMD parts?
