Embedded systems with multicore designs are of major focuses from both indu stry and academia. While embedded multicore systems will look to play an im portant role ahead for system designs, many challenging issues remain. Appl ications, programming models, architecture designs, emerging memory archite ctures, and software tools all need to help for the advance of embedded mul ticore computing ahead.
The 2017 International Workshop on Embedded Multicore Systems (ICPP-EMS 201
7) will bring researchers and experts together to present and discuss the l atest developments and technical solutions concerning various aspects of em bedded multicore computing.ICPP-EMS 2017 seeks original unpublished papers focusing on emerging applic ations, embedded compilers, embedded memory and architecture design, DSP/GP U systems, ESLs, embedded multicore programming models, and WCET analysis. Moreover, ICPP-EMS 2017 also welcomes work-in-progress, case studies, visio nary idea, new application challenges, and industrial practice studies.
