Call for Papers ---------------
ACM SIGSOFT 2004 brings together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to exchange new results related to both traditional and emerging fields of software engineering. We invite submission of technical papers which report results of theoretical, empirical, and experimental work, as well as experience with technology transition.

We encourage submissions in any field of software engineering, including, but not limited to:

Submission Guidelines
Paper submissions will be made electronically via the Web, at the conference web site. Both an abstract and the full paper must be submitted by their respective submission deadlines. Papers must not exceed ten (10) 8.5"x11" single spaced pages using the ACM SIG proceedings formatting instructions, which are accessible from the conference web site. Accepted papers must be accompanied by a signed ACM copyright release form.
Paper submissions will be reviewed by the program committee for originality, significance, soundness, and quality of presentation. Papers must clearly present an original contribution to the state-of-the-art. Experience papers are welcome, but they must clearly present general lessons learned that would be of interest and benefit to a broad audience of both researchers and practitioners.
Papers must describe work that has not been submitted to or presented at another forum. Any double submissions will be rejected without review, and the other forum will be informed of the situation.

Call for Workshops ------------------
Workshops hosted by SIGSOFT 2004 should provide an opportunity for exchanging views, advancing ideas, and discussing preliminary results on topics related to software engineering research and applications. Workshops should not be seen as an alternative forum for presenting full research papers. Workshops hosted by SIGSOFT 2004 will last one or two days.
