i believe that teleportation would make it take longer. after all, there has to be something controlling the teleportation, which adds processing time on either end.
the faster CPU's get the bigger chips have to be. does anyone remember about a decade ago, when they were working on speeding chips up and ran into relativistic effects? the signal was meeting itself or something.
er . . . or perhaps my memory is faulty. heh.
in any case, the future of computing (the far future, i guess) will be wetware. bionics. brains in vats. yay!
