Hi need some help..
Have a 11.4volt Li-Poly battery pack that i want to use to power a 9.6v dc electric motor in a BB gun. Can anyone help in suggesting a way to reduce voltage to 9.6v. The motor draws 14amps at full power.
Thanks
Roger.

Simple Ohm's Law says you need only 0.13 ohms resistance in the connecting cable to drop the 1.8V difference between the battery voltage and the rated voltage for the motor. Unless you are using a really heavy gauge short connecting cable you may already be getting near this figure. If the motor is only used intermittently the extra voltage shouldn't be of too much concern anyway.
