Sample/Hold version of 1kHz sinewave oscillator.

JM posted a version of the 1kHz sinewave oscillator using G1 and A1 blocks as sample/hold.



I decided to attempt a practical design of the sample/hold.



One way to get a nice short sample pulse is to use a ringing circuit which only turns the sample gate on during the first ring.



Before commenting/laughing please be sure you understand that this is just an idea, nothing more.



It can no doubt be improved and it may be best to throw it out completely and do it some other way. A cheaper pulse transformer than the one shown can likely be found. In a real circuit R16 would need to be adjustable to accommodate FET gate threshold tolerances.



If anyone reading this thinks I'm expecting flattery for designing this then I'm happy to tell them in advance that I think they are nuts.
