Bought a couple of these things for use as gifts.. they are a special calculator that requires the user to supply an estimate of the answer before they will give you the exact answer. IOW, it forces students to actually think about what they are doing and to get a feel for the quantities involved.

Quite cheap, especially considering they're using a flash 32-bit micro rather than a 5-cent ASIC.
