OT : Firefox 2 install cleaner than Redmond's

Very OT, but I know a number of people here use FF. Just downloaded FF2, installed it.

It picked up all the bookmarks, password manager stuff, settings etc. from the previous version even though all that was on a different disk, diff. directories etc.

Install took less than 2 minutes, btw, and their download mirrors (autoselected) are fast.

Very clean, no fuss, no hassle. It 'Just works'.

One of my colleagues at work got IE7 (because he needs to see how it works wih some of our apps). Download took 10 minutes, install took

10-15 minutes, then he had to reboot. (Not sure if that would be typical though).

Cheers

I added that back on 1.5.x - works great and my Wife loves it (don't have to go to google for a search etc).
