I have a dead 20" iMac G5 aka "iPicture" that {Apple sez..} has a FUBAR "logic board".
No, it's not one of the several iPictures covered by their recalls, & will cost $800 to repair.... so forget THAT..
So the question is: what else can we with the display? Is there any published data on the interface to the LCD, and such?
We're thinking maybe a MythTV display, maybe use it in the garage on our homebuilt code-scanning/car diagnostic box, or....
We're not in any way thinking this is a plug & play project; the
3 EE's involved are saying "It looks cold outside and this could keep us busy..."
