Last summer we were on the road and stopped for breakfast. It was their "premium roast". My wife was smart enough to pass on it.
There is big money in coffee. A friend when I lived in NY had a DD franchise. He said some time in the '80s they went from a doughnut shop that sold coffee to a coffee shop that sold doughnuts.
