Design Log and USENET

Would it be considered bad USENET etiquette to post a progress log as a run ning thread documenting steps I'm taking in designing two super-heterodyne radio receivers one for AM broadcast band and another for FM? Seems like a good idea to document the progress and possibly get tips and help along the way.

Wouldn't think it would be too much USENET noise given that it can easily b e ignored based on the title.

Very good idea, it is not noise, it would improve the S/N ratio considerably :-) The alternative is make a website, but only few will then find it, or keep reading it, some people make blogs where you can reply.

Let's see what you have. Here is the latest on my DVB-S TV transmitter:

Has become some sort of tutorial..

Do it, I might learn something new!

It'd be better than reading US political & gun related BS. :)

Would it be easier if you have a web site or blog and post a link here every time you update it ?

Its kind of hard to find a missing post in a stream of disconnected information.

Sounds like fun. If you breadboard, post some pics somewhere.

Sure, I would like to see it. Post updates as text / LTspice files here with a link to pictures on the web if you like.

Thanks,
