The way I figure it, you can't read the print on those damned SMTs anyway, so why make a technical photo when it has little documentation value? Instead, I kind of like the city-like view my circuits offer.

Take notes, on the board itself! Or photo a whiteboard with schematic/notes/measurements, and save the photos together.
