160Mbps fibre-optic receiver quantizer

In their app note an1123, Avago recommends the ML6622 for a high-speed quantizer in a 160Mbps receiver, but this elegant Micro Linear part has been discontinued. I suppose an LVDS receiver can be substituted, but it doesn't have adaptive thresholds. Does anybody know of an IC similar to the Micro Linear part?

If you don't need the signal indicator, just AC couple into a good comparator. I'd suggest one of the Analog Devices ecl/pecl ones. LVDS receivers have a bunch of built-in offset.
