raspi and HFS+ and ALAC

Hello,

my collection of music (actually ca 2 TB coded in AppleLossless, ALAC) is located on an external HD of a Mac (therefor it is formatted in HFS+). Is there any possibility to play that collection via a RasPi using all the tags? And to add new albums either from CD or from analog LP (via Audacity) with RasPi-Software and -Hardware?

Tanks for useful hints Wolfgang

Pretty sure RasPi can read HFS. Not necessarily write it. Google for what drive software to intall and how to mount it

ALAC codecs are available inder Linux but not for all players

Remember when you buy Apple you are turning your back on te rest of the world to enter a private Safe Space walled garden.
