Is this an appropriate group to ask a question about a problem setting up a new tv with a DVD/ VCR combo unit and if not can anyone suggest other more appropriate groups. TIA.

Is this an appropriate group to ask a question about a problem setting up a new tv with a DVD/ VCR combo unit and if not can anyone suggest other more appropriate groups. TIA.
May as well ask here, though a lot of people will probably tell you to just throw it away, those combo units are the bottom of the barrel.
