Audio test software

Hi,

does anyone use or know of a good software package you can run on a laptop / external soundcard for audio test and measurement purposes? Just something basic that will generate signals, and have some kind of 2 or

3 channel scope display/level meters, and a frequency response display/printout would be rather nice too.
