BF957C Application

Can someone suggest a project/application that would call for an XC2V6000-4BF957C? Thanks.

Use the DXN and DXP balls of the device along with a MAX6687 from Maxim semi to make a thermometer. The FPGA will use remarkably little power in this mode, as long as you don't connect any of the other 955 pins.

HTH, Symsx.

(p.s. Or you can also use the same pins in the feedback path of an op-amp to use the FPGA in its secret, unpublished 'logarithmic' mode.)

You could always get it to flash a LED every few seconds :-)
