Interference?

Got one of those HDTV converter boxes, and like the extra channels.

But I live near the tracks and there's a lot of north-south traffic. And every time a train goes by, it messes up the broadcast signal. Fwiw, the tv stations are all approximately n-s also.

Anybody else having this problem? What's doing it?

sci.electronics.equipment is for test gear, production equipment, etc. (oscilloscopes, wave soldering equipment, automated test equipment--that sort of thing).
