Timing between CMD and Response in MMC protocol

Hi,

In MMC protocol, the timeperiod in between command and response is to 64 clock cycles. i.e. after receiving a command, the MMC card has t respond with in 64 clock cycles.

But the command is followed by a period of two Z bits (allowing time fo direction switching on the bus) and then by P bits pushed up by th responding card.

My question is, whether the responding card has to push up the bu immediately after the command followed by two z bits or it can take mor than two z bits to respond.

Please clarify me.

Thanks in advance.

regards, SAI KRISHNA.
